The Common Market Law Review is, together with the University of Oslo’s Centre for European Law, hosting its 2nd annual conference on 20 October 2016. The theme this year is “Crossing Europe’s Borders – New approaches to migration in European law“.
One of the sessions at the conference is concerned with “Migration and external relations“, and should thus be of interest to the EUglobal crowd. The speakers and topics for that session are:
Chair: Marise Cremona (European University Institute – Florence, CMLRev)
Paula Garcia Andrade (Universidad Pontificia Comillas, Madrid): EU external competence in the field of migration
Daniel Thym (University of Konstanz): New Partnership Framework with third countries
Steven Blockmans (CEPS, Brussels, and University of Amsterdam): New thrust for the CSDP from the refugee and migrant crisis
